Descripción
DCFH-DA, diacetato de 2′,7′-diclorodihidrofluoresceína (también llamado diacetato de 2′,7′-diclorofluorescina), es hidrolizado por esterasas celulares a 2′,7′-diclorodihidrofluoresceína (también llamada 2′,7′-diclorofluorescina) y luego se oxida a 2′,7′-diclorofluoresceína principalmente por H2O2.
El diacetato de 2′,7′-diclorodihidrofluoresceína podría ser reactivo frente a una amplia gama de reacciones oxidantes que pueden aumentar durante el estrés oxidativo intracelular. Esta sonda es ampliamente utilizada para monitorear procesos redox celulares.
